Meet Dr. Crista MacDonald-Werby, ND
Dr. Crista MacDonald-Werby, BHSc., ND, was born and raised in Woodstock, Ontario. She earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences degree at the University of Western Ontario and then a four-year, professional program in Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. This included a one year internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, as well as an internship at Anishnawbe Health Toronto. She is a member in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and has passed the Therapeutic Prescribing exam. Dr. Crista MacDonald-Werby, ND is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and a registrant of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).
Crista enjoys being involved in the community and doing volunteer work. Her efforts include running a workshop in the Dominican Republic where she taught women, men and children who were HIV-positive how to improve their health using diet, local plants, exercise and lifestyle. She also has taught at Fanshawe College, spoken at various events across Oxford County and has led corporate wellness workshops and programs at industries across Ontario. In 2006, Dr. MacDonald-Werby, ND opened MacDonald Naturopathic.

Food intolerances, deficiencies, dietary imbalances or nutritional excesses will be assessed and treated.
Diet, lifestyle, specific stressors, exercise, environmental toxicities and occupational hazards are an integral part of the naturopathic treatment program.
Soft tissue work, hydrotherapy, gentle electrical impulses, acupuncture, acupressure & exercise therapy may be used as part of your treatment plan.
Acupuncture is used to regulate chi and achieve balance. It is often used for alleviating pain and tension, reducing stress, minimizing headaches and supporting fertility.
Laboratory testing at the local lab may be used as part of your diagnostic work up. We have a wide range of diagnostic and screening tests available such as cholesterol, hormone and thyroid testing, IgG food sensitivity, etc.
Herbs & Botanicals
Botanicals provide a safe & effective form of treatment for children & adults. We offer a full dispensary of botanical tinctures that can be individually customized and prepared on-site for you

Naturopathic medicine is covered by most extended health care plans and we offer direct billing. We look forward to working with you on your journey to better health!
If you are new to the office, this is where you will begin! An initial appointment is 75 minutes long. We will discuss your health history and current health concerns and we will put together a treatment plan to suit your health goals.
Follow-up appointments will vary from 15-60 minutes depending on your health care needs. Vitamin B12 injections, physical exams, ear exams/flushes, and labwork reviews may also be booked as follow up appointments by current patients.
Acupuncture appointments are 30 minutes in length. Acupuncture is a great option for pain/injury, arthritis, tension, stress, anxiety, fertility support, headaches/migraines, etc. An initial appointment is required before we can do acupuncture.
